Since I did a blog of females abusing leggings and displaying their ass cheeks I think it’s only fair to address the fellas. Now saggin which spells niggas backwards used to be a black thing, but it has become more widespread and is often done among whites and Hispanics regardless of their social class but whoever is doing this it is ridiculous. This trend of sagging has been around for some time now and at one point in my life I didn’t see what the big deal was. But at 24 years old I have a major problem with this, I’m not sure if I’m just getting older (maturing) or if I was blinded by how “cool” it was for guys to sag. Now this issue of sagging has been addressed on several other occasions with billboards, PSA’s, and other media outlets. 
Yet boys imitating men continue to sag below their ass cheeks. Now I realize that sagging may be more comfortable than wearing jeans up their ass and smashing their huge private parts because every dude is blessed in the middle right? LMAO! I just don’t understand if you know where sagging originated why would you do it? If you don’t know let me fill you in, it originated in the pen (jail system) as a way to advertise sex to the other male inmates. So to then do this in the outside world makes no sense to me unless you’re advertising to other males. Which is cool if that’s what you’re going for cuz I’m not judging. Now I’m not sure what other females think but I’m not turned on when I see some too big boxers spilling out of some too big jeans. It just doesn’t do the trick for me. So I have to ask…is wandering around showing off ass cheeks worth the “gangsta/cool” look? I mean there’s nothing cute about showing off your ass cheeks male or female. It’s kinda nasty if you think about it. The ass functions as a shit dropper. Do you really want to show the world your shit dropper? Especially as a guy? But don’t be in the club pretending to be a homophobe, Big Meech, Larry Hoover and every other gangsta legend when you’re ass is all out like a little byotch. Check out the OG's take on saggin'. I've never been a sagging type lover because the game my father kicked to me when I was young. Now that I am of age and on my own its disgusting to know guys my age are still doing this knowing where this has originated from, which leads me to think a couple of things about....Either they just don't give a damn and think its "still coo" or they are really advertising their asses to get or give ass from other men either or is messed up and now day suspect like a mutha! LOL!
Girl I know and with the DL movement that's going on nowadays you gotta look at every dude like he's suspect. One wrong move boy! lol.
I agree with u ray, to girls it may be attractive but as you mature into a woman it starts to be a turn off, the way a man dressed says a lot about their character and a man who has his pants hanging below his ass is not a man I want to bring home to my mama, I want to bring home a man who's pants are covering his vbottom and he looks and is sophisticated, saggin is so played out, its unattractive and its immature and I hope and pray that the boys doing it realize that sooner or later. I never really understood why boys do it but its not "cool" at all. Usually if a guy approaches me saggin I adress it!
Males are out here advertising to other males and covering it up by acting like they just 'think its cool'. DL men code.... The whole sagging look, looks ridiculous but then again people walk out looking a hot mess all the time and obviously they see nothing wrong. I know im younger than you but at 18/19, I am disgusted by every 'sag' I see.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way ladies. I'd like to know what the guys think too.
imma pretty much cosign what the other ladies have said. i feel like guys who sag like that just look stupid and the worst look of all is the "skinny jean sag" that seems to be gaining popularity. i cant tell u how many dudes i see at work walkin funny cuz they're tryin to sag jeans that are too tight. it's ridiculous. i feel like a guy thats still trying to sag is too young for me, whether its in age or mentality. it's time to grow up and dress and act like men. now i will say, however, that it's not as bad a look if they're wearing a shirt that covers their butt and jeans that arent too tight or 10 sizes too big. its the visible draws and too big clothes that make it worse to me.
p.s. i can't even read the names Big Meech and Larry Hoover without hearing them in Rick Ross' voice lol
