Look Good, Feel Good?

In these days world-wide changes are occurring each and every day in the economic world, political world, our family life and the list goes on. However one thing that hasn’t changed and may never change is the human desire to look and feel good. My godfather who always gives off a cool vibe and remains fashionable often says “look good, feel good”. So I’ve began to wonder what impact our outward appearance has on our internal values and feelings. Are we more confident when we look good? Are we more likely to take ourselves a little too seriously? And does what impact does it have when we think we look good, but really look at hot mess?

Yeah I feel that we're more confident when we feel and look good. Feeling good about yourself can go a long way whether its your everyday self-esteem or how you make decisions that impact your life. Looking good can also be a bad thing. Too many people judge themselves and their peers based upon looks. I think this is a real problem in the world we live in. Too many times do we see people giving in to the media's perception of "looking good". You know exactly what I mean; plastic surgery, meaningless fashion/fads, and even the oh so popular booty pop lol. All in all your outter appearance reflects your inner soul. So I guess what I'm trying to say is look good in your own mold. Don't be afraid to be yourself.

So! What exactly is looking good? Perhaps some people think they NEED the booty pop to look good! I think people see someone else looking good in something then decide that's the look for themselves and it may or may not be. It's important that people remember to look good for themselves and by their standards. Nonetheless men love the booty pop! lol! So! Back to the original question how does looking good impact how we feel?

When you dress good you feel good, and when you feel good your confidence automatically shines through... When your outward appearence look good, others around notice and compliment which makes us feel better as individuals. I think that its true that when you look good you feel good. Especially with the pressure around us to be up to par....

But at the same time, looking good on the outside can be a good way of covering whats going on, on the inside. Kind of similar to when things are rough and you smile it off like everything is okk when others ask... #lies. Looking good on the outside is an easy way out of whats going on inside. People dont see the suffering behind the doors just the chicken prsented on the plate

"Look good Feel good" There is definitely some truth to the statement, however, the mistake can be made that as people we judge people by how good they look or don't look. When in fact you cannot look at a person and tell if they are a good or a bad person. Seriously don't judge a book by it's cover. The booty pop after all might be funny to me but is a needed accessory for someone else to "look good and feel good" in their own eyes. The person across the room who is judging the booty pop as "looking good" is the one who might not get the "feel good" part he imagined....haha
